Hod's Message
We aim highly competent, efficient manpower to meet the ever-changing needs of the global automotive industry and the society. For this we impart quality education and training to students of the department, so that they are well equipped with domain knowledge and skills in the field of automotive engineering and management, along with positive attitude and respect for moral values.
The department follows the syllabus as prescribed by the affiliating Gujarat Technological University. At present, the department has well qualified faculty members and to supplement the syllabus, guest lectures and industrial visits are organized by the department. It has well equipped class rooms and laboratories that cater to the needs of the students.
The automobile industry in India has witnessed a rapid growth over the last couple of decades and in recent years it has also captured the attention of the whole world with some innovative products. It includes manufacturing two-wheelers, passenger cars, trucks, tractors, defense vehicles and buses. It requires skilled and trained manpower with good technical knowledge. Hence there are plenty of employment opportunities for qualified automobile professionals
